Hello,

Since last update to wine (1.7.19) everytime I go to the Temple of the Jade Serpent or do the Thunder Isle solo Scenario's the camera inverts (I tried to attach a screenshot to illustrate this, not sure if it worked though). If I move the camera about it rights iteslf until I move my toon, then it flips back. Anybody else experiencing the same issue?

Any help will be apprecited.

Network folder path issue

Hello,

I am having issues when using a task that executes a .cmd file on a network share. For whatever reason, and it could be something with corporate policy, I am only able to use the UNC path sporadically when pointing to the share. If I browse to the folder using my map drive, it works correctly. The problem is that anytime my computer is rebooted, robotask doesn't recognized that the drives have been mapped again on startup. Because of this, all jobs that I have created that point to a folder on a network share fail. I have to go in and browse out to each folder again to get the task to recognize it again. This is becoming a huge problem because I have so many jobs now. It isn't feasible to go in and remap each job every time my computer reboots. Is there a way to correct this?

accelerated video playback with pepper - possible?

Hello,

Our team is using CEF in a windows application that will require very high resolution video and chromium's current decoders aren't quite getting us the consistent playback that we need. We're looking at alternatives and hoping to get some feedback / advice from this community before continuing down any one path. One approach we've been exploring is to add a custom MIME handler / plug-in that uses Direct Show / Direct3D 11 to decode and render the video with hardware acceleration. It looks like the 'official' way to add plug-ins is to use Native Client, however I've read (in this native-client-discuss post) that, we don't have access to the HWND's so this won't be possible. Can we get around this?

Hello,

Coming to work today ludicrously early to avoid subway closures due to the Giant's parade I had time to ponder those around me. Many were bearing the standards of the NYC commuter (black coats, blank stares, no talking) however there were quite a few dressed in the style of those sportballers they so admire. Guttural grunts were heard to much much acclamation. Stations a light in applause and jocularity despite the dark looks of those who have daily trodden this PATH to their toils. I could not help but remember a similar time with a different group of brightly dressed devotee at the annual New York City Comic Con. Reactions to the same event, those dressed and spoken as those they admire, were met with more humor and not a small amount spurn. Is the sports fan not also drawn to fantasy in the form of electronic game? Why is one group lauded above the other when the action is so similar?

Hello,

What is the definition of what a sport is? You've got football, baseball etc, all considered sports and games. What about chess and monopoly, not sports but games right? So is it all sports are games, but not all games are sports or the other way around - or is it muddied? What about racing cars, fishing, shooting and other such competition, sport or no? Does the media decide all of this for us? I've always wondered about this. Anyone have a clear view?

Tell me about some great current non-jazz music with a horn section

Hello,

So. It looks like one of the bands I was in in high school is doing a reunion later this year, oddly enough. (Just for the record, that's a long long long long long long time ago...) So far, the music people have proposed is stuff we used to do, some still very cool -- Paul Butterfield, Sons of Champlin, Johnny Winter, Sly -- some less so to me. But besides that, I've been wondering what more current music we might be interested in. The band has a horn section, and especially without our Hammond guy who's so far MIA, that's a pretty important part of what that band was/is. I hadn't really thought about it until this came up, but apparently I don't listen much to current horn section bands these days, except for some jazz, which this isn't. It's possible I'm just drawing a blank and that's not actually true, but I haven't come up with anything so far. So please recommend me so great current(-ish) bands with a horn section and vocals, ideally male, or doable in some way by a guy. Not real jazz I think (though the one guy who's still doing music full time is all about that), more rock/funk/blues, more high energy than not. Then again, whatever's cool, we'll sort it out.

Hello,

I love jazz, but it seems like all of today's jazz is just mellow smooth jazz. Jazz on the radio is all boring slow tunes that you only hear in elevators and dentists' offices. And all the jazz clubs I've been to are dimly lit, super quiet, full of over-the-hill musicians who sound more like Lawrence Welk than Duke Ellington. When did the Kenny G style take over jazz? What happened to the dancing, swinging big bands, or the angry, frantic beboppers? What happened to the jazz-funk fusion of the '70s? Why has it been almost 40 years since someone made jazz music that doesn't put you to sleep? There's some upbeat jazz today, but it's all spread to other genres: "jam bands" like Medeski, Martin, and Wood. "Turntablists" like DJ Logic, and "Techno DJs" like St. Germaine. And the sounds these groups make is about 10% jazz, and 90% rock, hip-hop, or electronica. So where the hell does a jazz fan find good jazz that doesn't bore him to tears?

Hi,

I cannot use the MP3 music downloader app to download songs on my phone. Whenever I try, a message pops up on the bottom of my screen saying �external storage directory error �. This happened when I used my external SD card and continued even after I removed it. Please what is the problem?
